Our “WHY”

For people who are new to Quality Improvement (QI), there are lots of conflicting and competing methods, techniques, tools and opinions on how to improve any given care process or service which can be confusing and time consuming

Our aim is to make the QI journey for beginners as simple as possible; QIPstart offers learning about QI which will guide you through a structured process in a expedited time frame, leading to rapid learning and change.

By the end, you will have taken steps to physically improve your chosen area and developed a solid foundational knowledge from which you can build on; having robust evidence of your QI programme which you can use as evidence for your portfolio, support with business cases or just to facilitate personal development.

Our Objectives

Our objectives are:

“To instill a philosophy of continuous improvement for health and social care professionals.”

“QIPstart will be a single place where beginners can learn about Quality Improvement.“

“QIPstart we will support learning throughout your QI journey when you start your healthcare improvement programme.”
